The Rules

Somewhere in every company, someone is building an app nobody asked for. This is a game about that. Everything here is invented. No real companies were harmed.

1. Spin the wheel

Every spin creates a brand new app that did not exist before: a department, a country, a reason, a technology stack, an owner who left, and a disaster waiting to happen. It gets its own permanent page and stays in the world forever.

You do not need an account to spin. You just get no credit for it.

2. Sign in to be the finder

If you are signed in when you spin, the app is credited to you forever. Your profile lists everything you dragged into existence.

3. The disaster score

Every app gets a disaster score based on how bad it actually is: how many people depend on it, how many departments it quietly holds up, whether anyone still knows how it works, how it was secured (or was not), and how spectacular the eventual failure will be. There is no upper limit. There never is.

Your personal disaster score is:

the disaster scores of every app you found, added together
+ 10 points for every app you publicly admitted to

Admitting is worth points because owning up is harder than spinning. The ranking on the Vibe Code Masters board is sorted by this score.

4. Admit that was you

Any app can be claimed. Claiming means putting your name and a short confession on it, and it shows up in the confession feed and on your profile.

Claims cost a small amount, and the price rises every time an app changes hands. That money goes into the vibe-coded box of shame. Claims buy bragging rights and nothing else: no ownership, no resale value, no redemption.

5. Steal this mistake

If an app is already claimed, you can take it over by paying the current price. Being outbid is part of the game. The previous holder gets no payout and no refund.

6. Rarity

Rarity is not random, it is earned. It follows the disaster score, so apps get rarer as the world discovers how load-bearing they really are. An app quietly holding up five other departments is Legendary at minimum.

7. Rate'n'app

Swipe through the world and vote whether each app should be kept alive or killed. Votes decide the Most Loved and Most Hated boards. Nobody acts on the result. This is exactly how it works in real companies too.

8. Being decent

Names, confessions and links are public. Anything harmful, illegal, misleading, offensive or spammy gets removed without a refund. Do not name real people or real companies you do not speak for.

The full legal version lives in the terms.
